Post-spring camp, new head coach Steve Sarkisian and the Texas football program still have a lot of question marks looming for the rest of the offseason. Texas did have a lot of positive notes to take away from their stint in spring ball, which is a good sign ahead of the start of summer workouts and fall camp.

Sark and the Longhorns went through a lot of change, as anticipated, early in this offseason. A complete change in coaching regime and a lot of roster attrition has given way to what should be a more stable offseason the rest of the way.

Most of the volatility with the current roster and on the recruiting trail should now be in the rearview mirror. The lagging effects of the change in coaching regimes from former head coach Tom Herman to Sark should now be behind us, and the feeling of the new direction of the program should be settling in.

What to improve upon for Texas football post-spring camp?

What is clear for Texas throughout the rest of the offseason is that the depth chart still has a lot to figure out. A lot of the new starters on each side of the ball for the Longhorns have yet to be decided. Fall camp is clearly going to be a critical time on the Forty Acres.

With all of the roster movement for Texas so far this offseason, there are going to be some familiar faces with this program that move down the depth chart. New additions through the transfer portal could also send some returning Longhorns players down the depth chart this year.

Here’s a look at three Longhorns players whose stock is down post-spring camp.
