North Texas will end Memorial Day weekend with rain as thunderstorms move in throughout the area Monday.
Some rain pockets will be on the heavy side, according to KXAS-TV (NBC5). Stronger thunderstorms may also bring winds and small hail, but the threat for severe weather is low, NBC5 said.
A flash flood watch is in effect until 7 a.m. Tuesday as rain could bring higher chances of flooding Monday night, according to the National Weather Service.
Rainfall may total up to 3 inches, with some areas that may see 5 inches of rain, the weather service said.
